My family and I absolutely love (and look forward to) the one weekend each year we get to “party” with Mickey and friends. After we blasted throughout the park taking in all we could, my daughter missed the parade.
She fell asleep on my wife’s lap who’s sitting on the ground for the parade, as my son is gnawing on a HUGE Turkey leg.
Without a tripod (as I HAD to capture the parade for my daughter), I am trying to hold the camera steady while enjoying the little girls next to me. They’re loving the parade! Tell me in the Comment box below if I did a good enough job

MICKEY’S CHRISTMAS PARTY CONTINUES…..
The early December night chill is most welcomed…it’s beginning to feel a lot like Christmas (by Florida’s mild winter weather standards that is).
Disney World amazingly transforms Cinderella’s Castle using millions of lights into an even more spectacular iconoclastic castle you and I have known since childhood . Believe me, it’s a Kodak moment indeed.
The park presents a special Christmas parade, a Holiday Wishes fireworks show, special performances, Christmas cookies, and–get this–some honest-to-goodness snow falling on Main Street USA. Cinderella’s Castle will be decked out in “Castle Dream Lights” for the holidays.

Oh, you also will love the flowing Christmas decorations spread throughout the park. If you’re not expecting the special “Wishes” fireworks display, you will be knocked off your feet or chair with the one-and-only fireworks extravaganza.

Suggestion: Grab complimentary hot chocolate and cookies at many locations throughout the park and enjoy the fireworks.
The live Christmas shows on all the stages are AMAZING….brilliant! Holiday stage shows include the following: Celebrate the Season at the Castle and Mickey’s ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas in Tomorrowland’s Galaxy Palace Theatre. Don’t forget about Santa Goofy & Santa Claus.

Still, it’s Mickey’s PARADE that steals the party. What I showed you in the short video does not (sadly) provide the full effect of the happy people (and children) around you…the chill in the air…the Christmas music blasting throughout the park…the decorations…the live shows on ALL the stages throughout the park.

The captivating parade at night time far exceeds the parade’s splendor during the day. If it works for you, see the parade at night. Get your seats early though…parade route fills quickly.
